Vacation

It’s been said for a person to be successful at his or her profession for a long time, the person needs to also be good at taking vacation.

Do you agree with this theory?
Do you have a favorite place you go on vacation?
Have you ever experienced a “trip of a lifetime"?

Please share your thoughts and experiences.

  1. Honestly over the years it was very hard for me to take a vacation. Work, work, work, I felt as though I was going to miss an opportunity or didn't want to disappoint a customer. However, in that time I was missing out on quality family time and just a release of stress. As of late I have taken the time to enjoy a vacation. It truly helps refresh you ! Enjoy the family time, because your children will only be young once and time seems to be flying by ! The other reason is that too much stress and not allowing yourself a moment to relax catches up with you. I still give a 110% when I'm at work but I feel so much better when I allow myself a vacation. I am fortunate to have about 2 weeks left of vacation this year. I plan to spend that time to truly enjoy the Christmas Season with my family !! And prepare myself for the New Year !!! Energized and Ready to Go !!!!
